Girl's Retreat 2024 with Team Magness
We will meet in El Paso and spend the night in a hotel on Thursday 8/29 (not included in trip cost). There will be a planning meeting that evening so please arrive by 5pm. (If you are able to arrive earlier, you can help the Shopping Team with purchasing last minute needs in El Paso on Friday afternoon). We will cross the border Friday morning and get set up for the event, which starts at 5pm Friday night. Saturday's event will run from 9am - 4pm, and we will spend the night at the team center Friday and Saturday nights, returning to El Paso Sunday morning for flights after noon.
While we are not building a structure, we are building lives changed. We want to bless each girl with a gift of a backpack, bible, journals, pens, and other treats. We will host them for dinner on Friday and a snack Friday night. On Saturday, we will serve breakfast, lunch, and a snack in the afternoon. We will enjoy awesome and inspiring live music, and speakers that will encourage them to study God's word and to follow His path for their lives. We will encourage them with hopes of a blessed future.
Come and join us! God will show up, and He may be calling you to help.
